Robert Allen Ridley Parker, who graduated from Beal High School in 1954, has become an astronaut. He will go on to be support crew for Apollo XV with prime responsibility for the Lunar Rover, support crew and communicator for Apollo XVII, project scientist for sky lab missions and travel on the Space shuttle Columbia for Space Lab 1.
